Group private jet charter for 10 to 180 guests
When the whole group flies together, nobody waits at a gate and nobody misses the connection. We plan group private jet charter from one large jet to a full VIP airliner.

Aircraft by group size
The size of your group decides the aircraft, and the aircraft decides the price. Large private jets seat up to 16 guests, and VIP airliners take the rest.
| Group size | Typical aircraft | Per hour, from | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 to 16 | Heavy and long range jets | $9,500 | Families, executive teams |
| 19 to 50 | Regional jets with VIP or business seating | $7,000 | Teams, film crews, incentive trips |
| 50 to 100 | Embraer E190 and similar airliners | $11,000 | Sports teams, weddings, tours |
| 100 to 180 | Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 | $15,000 | Company events, fan travel, concerts |
Hourly rates are starting points for 2026. Airliner charters are usually priced per trip, so ask for a full quote with positioning included.
What every group charter flight includes
A group charter flight has more moving parts than a jet for four. One advisor handles all of them.
- Seat plans and catering for every guest
- Equipment and oversized baggage, from bikes to stage gear
- Ground transport from the aircraft door
- Passenger lists and visa checks
- Branding, menus and amenity kits for events
Send us the guest list and the dates. We will come back with aircraft options and a cost per guest.

How many passengers fit on a private jet
Even the largest business jets are usually certified for 19 passengers, and most large cabins seat 12 to 16 in comfort. Above that, a group jet charter moves to an airliner with business or VIP seating.
Use this table to match your head count to the right aircraft. Counts are for a comfortable layout with bags, not the legal maximum.
| Passengers | Aircraft to ask for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 6 | Light jet or turboprop | The lowest price for short trips |
| 8 passengers | Midsize jet | Stand up cabin on some models |
| 10 passengers | Super midsize jet | Coast to coast nonstop in the US |
| 12 to 14 passengers | Heavy jet | Galley, lavatory and room to walk around |
| 16 passengers | Ultra long range jet | Some berth eight for overnight flights |
| 20 passengers | Two large jets or a regional jet in executive layout | Two jets add flexibility on timing |
| 30 to 50 passengers | Regional airliner such as the Embraer ERJ 145 or Bombardier CRJ | Standard or business seating |
| 50 to 100 passengers | Embraer E190 or Airbus A220 | Often priced per trip |
| 100 to 180 passengers | Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 | For events, tours and fan travel |
Planning a big private jet trip with more than 16 people? Two aircraft are sometimes cheaper than one airliner, and they can fly from different cities.
Group charter questions
Planning a group private jet charter raises a few practical questions. Here are the ones we hear most from teams, couples and event planners.
How early should I book a group charter?
For airliners, four to eight weeks is ideal. Large jets for up to 16 guests can often be arranged within days.
Can we split the cost between guests?
Yes. We can issue separate invoices per guest or per company on request.
Is a group charter cheaper than scheduled flights?
For 30 or more people on a short route, the cost per seat is often close to business class. The whole group also arrives together, with no missed connections and no lost bags.
